How to Get and Install the chou4d App
We offer three ways to access chou4d on mobile. The first is the Android APK—a direct download for smartphones running Android 7.0 or later. The second is via iOS browser on iPhones and iPads running iOS 12 or later. The third is our responsive web app, which works on any modern browser. All three give you the same account access, markets, and payment options; the main difference is performance and offline capability.
Installation steps
- Download the chou4d APK file from our download page or scan the QR code provided in your account dashboard.
- On Android, open Settings > Security, enable "Unknown sources," then open the downloaded file and tap Install.
- Launch the chou4d app, log in with your username and password, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) by adding your mobile number.
- Verify your phone number, set up your payment method (QRIS, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank), and you are ready to access Liga 1 markets and live-dealer games.
App vs. Browser: Strengths and Differences
The native Android APK app offers several advantages over browser access. First, faster load times—the app caches match data, odds, and UI elements locally, so Liga 1 standings and casino games load instantly on repeat visits. Second, push notifications alert you when Piala Indonesia games start, when your withdrawal is processed, or when major tournaments like Champions League fixtures are added. Third, offline capability—you can view your balance, betting history, and account settings even without internet; changes sync when you reconnect. The app also provides direct access to your account, no address bar or browser history required, which adds a small layer of privacy.
Browser access (iOS, Android, or desktop) is equally secure and gives you identical market access. You do not need to manage APK files or enable unknown sources. Browser access works across all devices—switch between phone, tablet, and computer seamlessly. For users who prefer simplicity or who visit chou4d only occasionally, the browser remains a strong choice. During major events like Piala AFF finals or Champions League matches in Jakarta or Bandung, both paths handle traffic equally well.
Both app and browser use the same account and security
Your username, password, two-factor authentication (2FA), and account balance are shared across all chou4d access methods. You can log in on mobile, then switch to browser or desktop without losing your session or data.
Device Compatibility and Requirements
The chou4d Android app requires Android 7.0 or later. Most smartphones and tablets manufactured in the past five years run at least Android 7; you can check your device's version in Settings > About phone. iOS users need iOS 12 or later, which covers iPhone 5s and all newer models. For older devices, browser access via chou4d.app remains available.
We regularly test the app on a range of devices to ensure compatibility. If you encounter issues on a specific device, our support team can help—describe your model and Android/iOS version when you contact us. During periods of high usage (e.g., Idul Fitri or Idul Adha holidays, or during major Liga 1 matches), app performance may vary slightly, but core functionality remains stable.
Common Installation Issues and Solutions
The most common Android issue is the "Unknown source" security warning. By default, Android blocks installation of apps from sources outside the official Play Store. To install the chou4d APK, navigate to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps, select your browser or file manager, and enable the permission. After installation, you can disable this permission again for security. iOS users may see a certificate trust warning on first launch; tap "Trust" to proceed. If you see a blank screen after launch, clear your browser cache (or, for the app, go to Settings > chou4d > Storage and clear cache) and restart. If you cannot download the APK file, verify your internet connection and try again; if problems persist, contact our support team.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security on Mobile
The chou4d app requests only the permissions it needs: phone state (to detect calls and pause active bets), storage (to cache game data), and network access. We do not request camera, microphone, or contact access. All communication between your phone and our servers is encrypted using TLS (transport layer security). Your account credentials are never stored in plain text on your device. When you enable 2FA, your mobile number is verified through SMS or authenticator app, and login tokens expire after inactivity for additional security. During account verification (KYC), we collect your identification and address; these are encrypted at rest and never shared with third parties except payment processors (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking) when you initiate a transaction. If you lose your phone, log out from any browser, and contact our support team to freeze your account pending verification. For full details on data handling, see our privacy policy
